We pride ourselves in listening to your needs and having long term relationships with our business partners. Dee’s first client was Sequatchie Valley Head Start back in 1999, she continues to work with them and is happy to be able to work with 15 additional counties serving Head Start families.   

We have extensive experience working with many different organizations:  schools, correctional facilities, corporate wellness programs,  Lunch & Learns, Employee Health challenges, Diabetes Self-Management Programs, public speaking, health fairs, metabolic testing,  and cooking demos.

Menu Planning & Nutrient Analysis

Dee started her career as Kitchen Manager with Bennigan’s Corporation and has expanded her food service experience with clinical nutrition knowledge.  She has experience doing nutrient menu analysis for hospitals,  nursing homes, Head Start programs,  National Lunch Program in schools, Meals on Wheels,  Adult Day Care Programs,  assisted living organizations,  correctional facilities, and group homes for children and adults with special needs.

Individual Nutrition Services

Can I still eat my favorite foods?

We offer individual nutrition answers to your questions.  Whether you are an expecting mother, person newly diagnosed with diabetes, or third shift employee that is a caregiver for an elderly parent. We will help you plan a diet to meet your health needs, meal prep abilities, and food preferences.

Our staff are Registered Dietitians experience with diabetes, hypertension, obesity, renal disease, poly-cystic ovarian disease and other chronic conditions.  

Nutrition Counseling

We offer evidence based counseling, also called medical nutrition therapy, (MNT) to help you understand what you can eat to maximize your health. We will help you plan meals and snacks for your unique health needs and cater to your food preferences.    

Diabetes, desired weight loss, bariatric surgery consultations, polycystic ovarian syndrome, obesity, cancer, tube feeding consultations, stomach issues, hypertension, kidney disease, and food allergies are common diagnosis.

Telehealth

MNT and Nutrition Counseling real-time, secure, HIPPA compliant and secure for healthcare. Video consulting such as SKYPE, FACETIME and others are available from the comfort of your home.

How Does It Work?

Contact us for in-office or telehealth appointment 423-339-1415 

  1.  We review your health history and nutrition needs. 
  2. Set appointment date, verify insurance coverage before your appointment, and  send you paperwork.
  3.  You will receive individualized pan and discuss schedule for follow up appointments.
  4. We will communicate with your Healthcare Provider if you wish. 

  What can I expect at the Appointment?

  •  Initial visit – During your 60 minute initial visit, we discuss your usual diet, history of previous dieting as applicable, all aspects of your lifestyle that contribute your overall health. You will leave with sample grocery lists, menus, snack ideas for short-term and long-term goals to ensure we have a successful game plan.
  •  Follow up visit– Appointments are generally 30 minutes. We will review your progress, answer your questions and find solutions for obstacles you are struggling with. We will mutually decide on when to meet again. Most people starting out prefer 2-3 weeks or monthly in the beginning. It just depends what you want and need.

Do We Take Insurance?

How Much Does it Cost?

Our office will review your insurance benefits prior to your visit and work with your insurance company. Most insurances cover our services.

For uninsured or prefer private pay, $95 for initial visit and $60 for follow up visit. Multiple visit packages are available at discounted rates if interested.
